9-drawers lined with yellow velvet material. 1 secret drawer. I stored candles and fragranced wax in these drawers, and there is a little damage from it (spots). Still smells like it too. Wind up on back for music when you pull one of the drawers open.There are alot of little knicks and chips consistent with age.While moving, I grabbed the jewelry box full from the top sides like they were handles and the wood got moved out of it's original place. We got it put back in place just good enough to use but not as it should be to look presentable (see the last 2 photos). So PICK UP FROM THE BOTTOM IF YOU'RE GOING TO MOVE IT OR CARRY IT.
